Operational commissioning of EC Czechnica

On March 8, 2023, the operational acceptance of the project carried out by Gascontrol Polska sp. z o.o. investment "Connection to the Czechnica CHP transmission network - in the town of Siechnice as part of the construction of connections and gas pipelines used to connect connected entities to the gas transmission system along with the infrastructure necessary for their service"

“The GAZ-SYSTEM project included the construction of DN 500 and DN 300 MOP 8.4 MPa connection gas pipelines, optical fibers along the pipelines and the construction of the Sulimów control station with a capacity of 200,000 m3/h and the Czechnica measuring station with a capacity of 63,000 m3/h. The gas connection route runs through the communes of Oława, Domaniów and Siechnice in the Dolnośląskie Voivodeship and will supply the CHP plant with 52,000 m3/h of gas. The thermal energy produced by Nowa EC Czechnica will provide heat to, among others, the inhabitants of Wrocław, the municipality of Siechnice and the surrounding towns.”
